From May 4th to May 6th, 2023, the President of Vietnam, Vo Van Thuong, made a diplomatic visit to London to attend the coronation of the new British monarch, Charles III. During this visit, he met with the Vietnamese community and businesses in the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the President praised the contributions of the Vietnamese community in the UK to the development of Vietnam, as well as the solidarity and mutual support among its members. He also met with Vietnamese business associations in the UK to learn about their activities and encourage unity within the community.
The President emphasized that the purpose of his attendance at the coronation was to strengthen the political relationship and trust between Vietnam and the UK, as well as to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas between the two countries.
